The Dimensional Model: Imagining in Scale
A Great Workshop for Sculptors, Blacksmiths, Metalsmiths and Jewelers!

Saturday & Sunday, October 25 & 26, 2008
Students must supply:- – Architect's Scale, Staedtler item # 448921 from officedepot.com
- – If you have basic metalworking hand tools bring them
- – Matt board
- – Matt knives
- – Straight edge, steel ruler will do
- – Aluminum foil
- – If you have sheet metal scraps, any material, bring them
- – Tissue paper
- – Tooth picks
- – Wooden skewers
- – Bring a piece of work (or photograph) to share
- – Found objects (small), natural materials or any material/supply of interest to them. A bag/box of interesting stuff.
- – Hot glue gun, supply of glue
- – Low temperature solder
- – Liquid flux for solder
- – Jewelers Torch
- – Jewelers pliers or basic needle nose pliers for bending
- – Diagonal cutters for cutting wire
- – Abrasive paper (80, 120, 220 grit)
- – 1/16" steel welding rod, 2-3 pounds
- – Binding wire (several thicknesses)
- – Sheet metal scraps
- – Snips
- – Several spray cans of a fast drying grey primer like Krylon.
