Memberships

Want to network and socialize with other like-minded individuals? Get a discounted price for the symposium? Apply for grants? Participate in group shows? If so, becoming a member of the SMG is the way to go!

Benefits include:

  • Early notification of lectures, events and workshops hosted by SMG

  • Lectures are free for Members!

  • Discounts on workshops and events hosted by SMG

  • Invites to participate in Members Only, juried or curated exhibitions, including the Biennial Exhibition and social events

  • Memberships are valid year to year from the day you sign up.

  • Membership fees can be paid for two ways:

    • Auto-recurring – input your credit card information and you will be automatically charged each year for the renewal of your membership.  Please note that your credit card data is not stored on our site, but transferred and stored securely with 256-bit encryption on our credit card processing vendor’s site STRIPE.

    • Online – Make a one-time payment online via your credit card.  Once the charge is made, your credit card information is dumped and not stored.

General Membership

Sign up for a general membership if you want to get all the benefits of being a member, as listed above! You will automatically get the newsletter, and updates about events and member opportunities.

Student Membership

Sign up for a student membership if you’re currently a student (or low-income). You’ll get all the benefits of the general membership! We ask that you email us a photo of your current student ID when you sign up for this membership.

Corporate Membership

Sign up for a corporate membership if you want all the benefits of general membership and you want your business or corporation to partner with SMG. You will be listed on our resources page and get a shoutout in our newsletter.
