Member Grants

The Seattle Metals Guild offers grant opportunities to both emerging and established artists. The Emerging Artist Grant is awarded on even numbered years, while the Established Artist Grant is awarded in odd numbered years.

Member grants are designed to provide financial assistance to Seattle Metals Guild members in support of their personal artistic development. Each year, one recipient is awarded $2,500 to be used toward their personal artistic development. Examples include but are not limited to: the creation of new work, the installation of new work, the curation of an exhibition, the acquisition of studio equipment, documentation, research, travel, or a public performance.
